Home/Community Carer perform an ever growing and vital role in society and are often the single thing which enables a person to remain in the familiar surroundings of their own home, as opposed to entering a residential care setting.

Often older people and perhaps those with a physical or learning disability may not require full time care; just someone to help them at certain times of the day or with certain tasks. This is where the Home or Community Carer can fill that role, and also become the “eyes and ears” for family members who may be concerned about their relatives.
