Specialist Home Care
Divine Global Health employs carers with a wide variety of experience and training which enables us to be able to offer some very specialist types of home care, including but not limited to:
Care of those with a Dementia
- These days, Dementia is widely recognised as one of the most significant health issues to affect this country. The numbers of people diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer’s is rapidly growing as the population ages. Our carers are highly trained and experienced in caring for those with the condition and the issues effecting both the sufferer and also their loved ones. Care of those with a Learning Disability
- For too long, people with learning disabilities have been afforded services based on a subjective interpretation of what we think they need, resulting in many being forced to live within a service environment that does not reflect their hopes for the future. At Divine Global, we adapt our services to meet the individual’s needs, hopes and aspirations. We achieve this by listening to what the people we support want, as well as their families and other professionals, and providing a service which allows people to remain in their own home.
Care of those with Autism
- Autism is known as a complex developmental disability. Experts believe that Autism presents itself during the first three years of a person's life. Divine Globals’s highly experienced team are trained in identifying and caring for people living with Autism. Many of our service users suffer from varying levels of these conditions and the care plan we produce reflects the level of support they require as an individual.
Care of those with a Sensory Impairment
- Living with an impairment, or indeed absence of, one of the major senses, such as sight or hearing, can be an incredibly daunting, often frightening experience. Even the “simplest” of everyday tasks can be problematic. Our carers are trained to be able recognise and assist with the particular set of problems which can arise from such an impairment and can act as the “eyes or ears” of a service user where necessary.
Care of those with a Physical Disability
- People with physical disabilities can often find themselves cut off from the wider community, which can in time even lead to loneliness or depression. Having a Divine Global Health carer on hand can enable our service users to become more mobile. Often the things that the able bodied take for granted, like a trip to the shops, cinema or library, are simply not possible without assistance. Our carers can be and are a real lifeline for many of our service users; allowing them to live their lives as they wish to live them.
As previously mentioned, this is not an exhaustive list. If you or a loved one are experiencing issues not mentioned here, or if you simply have a question about home care or Divine Global Health, please do get in touch and speak to one of our team.
